I’m going to go out on a limb and say that if you’re here, you probably have unwanted stretch marks that you would rather get rid of.
I know that was my first thought after the euphoria of being a new mother wore off!
I set this site up to provide honest stretch mark cream reviews including feedback from people who have actually used these products, because frankly, that would really have come in handy when I was trying to get rid of my pregnancy stretch marks. Then I'll explain what I've found to be the best stretch mark cream, and the factors that I considered (and that you should consider as well, when you make your decision).
From my experience, there aren’t that many options when it comes to stretch mark removal. On one hand you can pay for clinical treatments like laser stretch mark therapy which costs an arm and a leg and – from what I’ve seen – rarely produces any worthwhile results.
The other option is to use a combination of a good stretch mark cream and a healthy lifestyle, which I’ve found tends to produce the most consistent and noticeable results, and for a lot less money too.
No cream is going to make your stretch marks vanish over night, but the good ones will lead to a marked reduction in the feel and visibility of them if you follow the directions properly and apply it regularly for at least 6 weeks.
It’s hard for me to tell you which stretch mark cream to get because that depends on your budget and how impatient you are in terms of seeing results. So in addition to the full reviews of a dozen of the top treatments (see below), I’ve highlighted what are in my honest opinion, the 3 best overall stretch mark creams.
In terms of fastest-working and best overall results, I would recommend Trilastin SR, due to its patented delivery technology which helps ensure the active ingredients are properly absorbed.
The only down side to Trilastin is that it costs slightly more than Dermology and Revitol, which are my second and third recommendations.
Both Revitol and Dermology are nearly identical, so it really comes down to personal preference. If your budget is tight, either of these two creams is a good choice, though keep in mind that Dermology has a Free Trial option which allows you to try it for free whereas Revitol offers 2 Free tubes when you buy 4 (which is probably the best deal Revitol offers since you're likely going to need at least 4 or 5 tubes to really see good results).
These recommendations are simply based on what I’ve seen and the feedback I got from the many others who used these products and shared their experiences, but by no means are these the only options.

It also appears to contain aloe vera, squalene oil and grapefruit seed extracts which are designed to help the skin stay supple and elastic in order to protect it against micro-tearing (i.e. stretch marks).
Revitol Stretch Mark Prevention
This is a widely used stretch mark treatment and prevention cream. It contains ingredients that are meant to to improve elasticity by strengthening the collagen and elastin-rich tissues of the skin's inner layers; ideally providing the best stretch mark removal. This product also contains ingredients like Grapefruit Seed Extract that, according to Revitol, help strip away dead skin cells and spur the growth of new healthier cells.

ZENMED Stretta is a stretch mark removal product designed to heal scars and improve general skin complexion. It contains Glycolic acid which allegedly strips away dead skin cells; and Centillica Asiatica which is reportedly promotes collagen. Vitamin E and various other nutrients are also said to contribute to this product’s skin healing properties.
Purity Skin Pure Peptide Stretch Mark Cream is a stretch mark removal product. It comes in an un-diluted, concentrated formula. The company claims the cream is effective because it contains peptides that target and heal the scars caused by skin stretching. Due to its concentrated formula, less of the product is usually necessary to provide the desired results.
Barmon Stretch Mark Cream is a product designed to fade and remove stretch marks that have appeared due to stretching of the skin; during pregnancy for example. The cream contains cocoa butter, Vitamin E and wheat germ oil, which the company claims helps repair tears in the collagen beneath the skin.
As with most stretch mark creams, Clinique Cx seeks to lessen stretch marks by spurring the body's collagen production and improving the skin's elasticity. This product must be applied three times daily, with results appearing after at least 4 weeks of continuous use.
StriVectin SD is a stretch mark and general skincare cream. It contains a host of ingredients that are designed to nourish and heal the skin as well as increase collagen levels. Avon ANEW Clinical Professional Stretch Mark Soother uses "patented Trilaser technology" to replenish collagen and elastin, to help fade stretch marks. In a "clinical study", it's all-natural ingredients supposedly helped to reduce (in 70% of participants) redness and whiteness by 72%, remove darkened scars by 56% and reduce ridges by 40%. It should be noted, however, that these results have not been verified by the FDA or any third-parties.
BIOCUTIS Biological Skin Care is a general skin care product created from enzymes released by brown garden snails. BIOCUTIS claims that it helps keep the skin hydrated, helps remove dead skin cells and promote new skin cell growth. It is also said to protect against mild to moderate sun damage.
What Are Stretch Marks & How Can Creams Help?
